About Cleopatra Developments
Cleopatra Developments is part of the Cleopatra Group, which began in 1986 as an Egyptian ceramics manufacturer and later expanded into other sectors, real estate among them. Businessman Mohamed Abou El Enein chairs both the group and its property arm, and the company brought in architect G.B. Bellagamba to design its projects.
Earlier work includes commercial and residential projects such as Cleopatra Plaza in Nasr City and Alexandria, Cleopatra Square, and a project in El Gouna.
A home in El Shorouk or a chalet on the coast?
Which Cleopatra project fits depends on your goal. If you plan to live there, test the rush-hour commute from Cleopatra Palace to your workplace and check nearby schools and services. If you want a summer home or rental income, coastal villages raise different questions: real distance to the water, the type of beach, and whether the village is active only in summer or year-round.
On the coast, ask about annual maintenance fees and how often they rise, since they directly affect your return. Check how earlier phases were handed over before booking a new phase of any Cleopatra Developments project, and read the late-delivery clause carefully.
Cleopatra Developments FAQ
Where are Cleopatra Developments projects?
Its listed projects are in El Shorouk east of Cairo and on the North Coast through Smeralda Bay and S Bay.
Who owns Cleopatra Developments?
The company belongs to the Cleopatra Group, chaired by businessman Mohamed Abou El Enein.
Should I buy a Cleopatra chalet from the developer or resale?
Resale in an operating village lets you see the beach and services firsthand, while buying from the developer gives a longer payment plan. Compare total price and maintenance fees both ways.
