About HDP Developments
HDP Developments was set up by the Housing and Development Bank to handle the bank's real estate investment and marketing activity. That makes it less of an independent developer and more of a subsidiary of a bank with a long history in housing finance. Since launch, it has worked on both residential compounds and commercial malls, spread across east and west Cairo as well as the North Coast.
How to choose between HDP projects
With this many options, start by defining the goal: a home, an investment or a summer place.
- For living in east Cairo, compare SQ1, Grand Lane and Talda on distance to 90th Street and the Suez Road.
- For west Cairo, Terrace, Westview and Club Hills cover Zayed and October; compare price per square meter and finishing level.
- Bank backing does not replace due diligence. Review the contract, delivery schedule and maintenance deposit project by project.
- Ask which phases have already been handed over and visit them; a delivered phase tells you more than any rendering.
