Nawassy Developments is a real estate developer formed through an alliance of three established names: Enco Misr, a first-grade contractor that has worked on New Administrative Capital infrastructure; Hassan Allam Group; and Misr Real Estate Assets, the property arm of Misr Insurance Holding. Before you buy from Nawassy

Having a major contractor among the shareholders is a plus for build quality, but it doesn't replace your own checks. If you're looking at a shop or office in 3 Sides, ask who will operate the mall after handover and how the tenant mix will be planned, since management drives the rent you'll actually earn. If you want a home in Nest or N Line Suites, compare the price per square meter with neighboring projects, get a copy of the contract before paying, and read the late-delivery penalty clause and the written finishing specs. Ask about the maintenance deposit too: what percentage of the price it is and when it's due.
