NCB Developments grew out of an alliance between Egyptian and Kuwaiti companies active in development and contracting. It is led by Dr. Gerges El Lawindy, who is also the founder of El Karma Hospitals and a professor of general and laparoscopic surgery. The company builds residential, educational, commercial and office projects in Egypt and other Arab countries. Work it lists to its name includes taking part in building the Latin Quarter in New Alamein and constructing Cambridge School Egypt and a residential complex in the New Capital.

It also has Verti Business Tower, an office building in the New Capital.
