About Saudi Egyptian Developers

Saudi Egyptian Developers, widely known as SED, was established in 1975 as a joint venture between the Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Housing, and the Saudi government, represented by its Ministry of Finance. That makes it one of the oldest property companies in the market, with work spread over the years between large residential projects in New Cairo and tourism projects on the coast and in Ain Sokhna.

How to choose among SED projects

With this much variety, compare each project against its neighbors rather than against other SED projects. In the Fifth and Sixth Settlements, weigh Jayed and Tierra against nearby compounds on price per square meter and built-up ratio. In Maadi and New Fustat, the draw is a central Cairo location, so ask about parking and access.

In the Latin District, handovers have already started, so visit the delivered part and judge the services yourself. Because this real estate developer has a long history, ask about projects finished years ago and review the handover and maintenance-deposit clauses before signing.
