The Estates is a SODIC community in New Zayed, built on 150 feddans with direct frontage on the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road, just two minutes by car from SODIC West. SODIC's VYE compound sits next door, and Smart Village and Mall of Arabia are close by.
Villas and standalone homes set the tone, alongside an apartment and penthouse section called The Estates Residence. It targets families who want generous space and privacy in west Cairo, with daily services inside the gates and quick access to Sphinx Airport and the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The Estates SODIC design
The plan is built around very low density: buildings cover only 13% of the land, while green areas stretch across about 160,000 m². The master plan shows villa clusters arranged in curving loops around a green core, with lakes and pocket gardens between groups of homes.
A 2 km green spine ties the community together, lined with shops, food outlets, sports courts and play areas, alongside a walking promenade and jogging and cycling trails. Villas follow a contemporary style mixing natural stone, timber and wide glazing with upper terraces, and the renderings show private pools at some of them.
